Major: Philosophy

An undergraduate education is what you make out of it, but it is a lot easier to make something worthwhile when other people are helping you.   I say that from experience being one of the first students to participate in Cleveland State University's Learning Communities.  This was basically a cluster of classes centered around the common theme of Math and Physics.  I had never taken a physics course before in my life (not even in high school), nor had I taken college level math, but seeing the same people everyday took the intimidation away.  I was able to build strong relationships with each of my classmates and even stronger ones with my professors.  Thus, being able to overcome all my anxieties and succeed on a college level. Now, I am a part of the physics club, and a pre-medicine major looking forward to taking calculus.
